First violins

Louis Bouthillier has been a violinist since the age of four and has never ceased his practice and his passion for the violin. During his adolescence, through his studies at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, he discovered the true pleasure of playing in group. The main characteristic of symphonic music is for him an ephemeral Art that is realized collectively. Music must be a group activity and not solitary practice.

In addition to being a great baseball enthusiast, Louis Bouthillier is a full time Crown Attorney. Despite his busy schedule, he continues his career as a musician; for him, it's a simple question of organization! What he appreciates most of the orchestra is to have the chance to play with leading instrumentalists and soloists. The CD recordings of the Orchestre symphonique de Laval are the memories of which he is most proud.
