For almost twenty years, cellist Laurence Leclerc has been part of various musical ensembles in Quebec. We can hear her regularly with La Sinfonia de Lanaudière, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Angèle Dubeau et La Pietà, Appassionata and also with the Orchestre symphonique de Laval. She is also Principal Cello at the Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke. Originally from Joliette city, she was admitted at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal at twelve and graduated in Guy Fouquet's class in 2001. A few years later, she obtained an Artist Diploma from McGill University with Antonio Lysy. Finally, Laurence had the great chance to take part of the renowned Gregor Piatigorsky Seminar for cellists, in California.
