Coming from a musical background, Anne Richard was attracted to the violin at Seven. She studied at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and then at the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Performance.
A passionate orchestral musician, she participated in numerous internships at the Banff School of Fine Arts, at the Toronto Conservatory and finally at the Orchestre des jeunes du Québec.
She has played in several orchestras, including the Orchestre Métropolitain and she is a member of the Orchestre symphonique de Laval.
Active in the field of education, Anne Richard has taught violin in the Music Program of École Des Cèdres for twenty years and for twelve years at the Académie de musique des Basses-Laurentides. Her involvement in these different environments means that she can teach both beginners and advanced, both young and old, in French or English.
